Pay based on Experience/Skills:
• Accounts Payables/Receivables/Collections *General Ledgers *Bookkeeping *Review Profit and loss *Bank and balance sheet reconciliation *General Office *Payroll *Prepare financial statements and financial reports *Prepare and manage journals and ledgers *Prepare financial data for corporate and government reporting agencies *Assist administrative duties and General office work as needed * Work closely with Head Book Keeper and owners.
The right candidate may eventually take over when the Head Book Keeper retires.
``Duties:```
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Prepare and record journal entries for various financial transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Generate financial reports and statements as needed
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Utilize accounting software Open Systems Accounting Software to perform daily tasks
```Qualifications:```
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping and understanding of debits and credits
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Open Systems, QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
